Groomer Training

Look North offers tuition to everyone, from the complete beginner with the ambition to start their professional grooming career, to the established groomer wanting to improve on style, shape and technique. We also offer tuition for the pet owner who wants to learn to trim their own dog.

There is no upper age limit for our training courses although a minimum age of 16 is required to complete a City & Guilds qualification. No previous experience is required for the 15, 16, 24 and 32 day plus courses.

Our grooming tuition covers a range of breeds to give a true reflection of a groomer's daily work. We specialise in style and shape and the art of scissor work and can guide you through the whole grooming process to enable you to achieve your full potential.

Alongside our set courses we can also tailor tuition to suit your needs.
On completion of your course support is ongoing for as long as required either through telephone contact, email or the Look North student group on Face Book.
